Winter experiences

In Zermatt you can experience the highest ski area in the Alps – the Matterhorn Ski Paradise. Around 360 prepared slopes with all levels of difficulty offer skiing fun for old and young alike. And at all times you’ll get to enjoy the impressive panoramic backdrop of the 4,000-metre peaks. What’s more, the region’s 38 majestic giants are perfect for unforgettable ski tours and freerides.

The mountains have a lot to offer even for non-skiers: cross-country skiers, snowshoe and winter hikers will enjoy the many varied panoramic trails, while sledge fans won’t want to miss out on the Gornergrat sledge run, one of the most beautiful ones you’ll find in the Alps – with thrills and excitement for young and old guaranteed. The toboggan run in Täsch is an insider tip right on our doorstep. You’ll rapidly be taken back to the valley on the M-shaped track. Fun for the whole family.
